Hey CCP! Being that most of you live in Reykjavik, and since there are a bunch of us players coming out for a visit next week, I was wondering if you guys/gals might share some local intel on your favorite places in town!
Little hole in the wall pubs or eateries that you find especially awesome.
Anything you can share will be greatly appreciated and likly visitied while i am there :)

Originally by: Kveldur Not part of the ccp staff, but I do live in Iceland and I personally like -slenska barinn(Icelandic bar), The celtic cross, and Enski barinn(English bar) though english bar gets quite crowded after 00:00. As for some eateries I would go for Vita bar wich serve fantastic hamburgers and a great steak dinner, Hamborgarab·lla T=masar is also another hamburger joint though they also serve steak dinner wich I have heard is quite good but their hamburgers arent as big as those at Vita bar but in my opinion slightly better.
Hey Kveldur! Thanks for your input! Your local knowledge is far superior than anything one can find online. There are so many places around my house that a travel guide might recomend and while they may be great places, the little places that are so much more enjoyable get buired in reviews by the big guys! :) thanks!

Wow guys, you didn't tell me about Sµgreifinn (Sea Baron)!!!! That place was utterly amazing! And it's right around the corner from your office. Same with Icelandic Fish and Chips, which was fantastic.
I think going forward, you guys should definitely recommend your visitors try out your sea food, that is easily the greatest food asset Iceland has over other countries. The only other place i can think of that might rival the goodness of Icelandic fish would be in Alaska. The only other time i had seafood nearly as good as the stuff i had in Reykjavik was in Seattle, which was fish freshly caught that morning in Alaska. Can't beat that arctic fish.
I Ate at the Lava Restaurant as well (although i ended up spending 16.000isk lol) and it was fantastic.
Anyone who did the golden circle probably got a chance to try out the Soup at Gullfoss, also a must have!
I did end up going to -slenska Barinn and had the Horse. Everyone back here in the States has given me so much grief for eating horse LOL. Pansies, that horse was good. I would eat that all the time if i could.
In the end, i cannot wait to come back to Iceland, would love to come back for summer or Christmas!
